He remodeled the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and plans extensive renovations of a golf course in East Potomac Park, moves that could significantly reduce the public’s access to running and biking paths. He is also moving forward with a triumphal arch that will sit near Arlington National Cemetery across the Potomac River in Virginia..

Trump’s ‘flagrantly unconstitutional’ order attacking mail voting is already being implemented and must be blocked now, new filing alleges. “No one really disagrees” that President Donald Trump’s recent mail ballot executive order calling for the creation of federal voter registration lists “is flagrantly unlawful,” Democrats argued Wednesday in a filing asking a federal appellate court to block it. Postal Service takes another step toward implementing Trump’s anti-mail voting order. Step by step, the Trump administration is moving forward with implementing President Donald Trump’s anti-mail voting executive order — despite an expert consensus that the order is unconstitutional and ongoing efforts to block it in court. In a notice filed Thursday in federal court, the administration said the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has begun the process of creating a new records system to track mail ballots. States to get citizenship lists before voters can check for errors, new memo on Trump’s anti-voting order makes clear. If allowed to stand, the order — which was issued in March and which election experts have said is blatantly unconstitutional — could have a major impact on voting in the midterm elections by significantly restricting mail voting. It aims to ensure that only voters on a federal government list can receive a mail ballot.

What do we know about the US-Iran peace deal – and what questions remain?. Access to the strait of Hormuz and the future of Iran’s nuclear program are among the issues that remain unclear amid a lack of detail. The nuclear issue—the whole reason for the negotiations in the first place—hasn’t actually been resolved. Instead, the deal creates 60 days of future negotiations to discuss the possibility of someday resolving the nuclear issue. It’s the diplomatic equivalent of announcing you’ve solved your debt problems by scheduling a meeting with your accountant.

The celebration started on the steps of the Norm Dicks Building in Bremerton.

Legal Defense Fund for MN Anti-ICE Organizers. On the morning of June 16th 2026 fifteen anti-ICE organizers were indicted on federal conspiracy charges in Minnesota, 12 of whom were arrested in aggressive raids across the Twin Cities. This fundraiser is organized by the friends and family of the defendants, all funds raised will go directly to support the defendants through their trial. Donate here

Judge lets lawsuits against Trump’s attack on mail voting proceed. A federal judge in Massachusetts said Democratic state attorneys general and pro-voting organizations can continue to challenge President Donald Trump’s sweeping executive order attacking mail voting before the midterm elections.

Trump’s name is gone from the Kennedy Center’s facade after court rulings

The curtain may have come down for President Donald Trump at the Kennedy Center but the tarp stays up for now. Matt Floca, executive director and chief operating officer of the performing arts venue, told a federal court Saturday that the institution had complied with an order to remove Trump’s name from the facade.
