June 14th at 8:30-9:15am starting at City Hall – Silent Peace MarchThen encouraging everyone to attend Junteenth in Bremerton June 14th: (Juneteenth in Bremerton), 10:15am-3pm, is an important annual event in Bremerton that we support. Midtsommer Fest, Poulsbo’s annual Scandinavian solstice festival, will be using the gazebo in Poulsbo on June 14th from 10am to pm. So, while Trump revels in his megalomaniacal show of military force birthday party in the nation’s capital on June 14, we will join nationwide demonstrations with a NO KINGS! We will have a Silent Peace March, 8:30-9:15am (coinciding in real-time with the extravaganza in D.C.) We will gather at Poulsbo City Hall with signs and march promptly to Front Street for the loop and back IN SILENCE. No speakers, no chants, no music – a truly silent and focused demonstration. We encourage people to bring signs that say either NO KINGS! or PEACE. This gives us time to make our point and move on to continue the day.
